Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

When deleting a user can we have an optional step that allows us to replace that user with another. Top level of the idea is to:
allow access to old mail file to replacement user - and/or better - redirect mail to replacement user.
update ACLs, reader fields and group members from deleted user to replacement user.
Most systems have approval config, so this would replace the leaver name with replacement name (if use names fields).
To put it another way, when deleting a user (or marking as a leaver) allow a rename of the user to an existing user name that you can pick.
OR add a separate option to replace a user, this would do the AdminP 'Rename person' but just not touch the replaced users person document (if that has remained, which it shouldn't as they are being deleted).
