There MUST be a better way to manage the ID vault ID

The ID vault is a critical part of the infrastructure. When an admin creates it, an ID file to manage it is also created on that admin's local computer. This ID file is critical to managing the vault, yet there is no indication whatsoever that the admin should put it somewhere safe and document the password on it. As a result, that ID is very often lost over time and the only remedy is to create a new ID vault and somehow move all the ID files to the new vault. This can be a nightmare if users aren't using the Notes client.

My suggestion is to have a much better way to manage the security on the ID vault. Either avoid the need for a separate ID file or add the Vault ID file to a super secret place in the vault * along with all the server and certifier IDs * or at the very least, warn the administrator how important this ID file is, just like a certifier ID.
