This idea suggests
Add a new option to the Administrator Client that allows the "Files" and "Server" tabs to be automatically updated, in order to automatically represent the current state on the Domino server
In the "Files" tab, refreshing it should not lose the focus of the currently selected file or folder
Ideally, the Domino server should send a signal to the Admin Client session, so that the Admin Client can trigger an update of the display. If that's not possible, the client could at least periodically fetch updates from the Domino server.
It should be possible to enable/disable the feature
Current state
The current Administrator client may or may not display the current state on the Domino server, but rather, it may display an outdated state.
Particularly:
Changes that occurred in the "Files" tab (e.g. added/removed files, changed file sizes etc)
Changes that occurred in the "Server" tab (e.g. Server Tasks, Notes Users, etc)
As a result, the Administrator has to manually refresh the current "View" (e.g. by pressing the "F9" key).
What's particularly painful is, that refreshing the "Files" tab will lose the focus on the currently selected file or folder. The administrator then has to click their way back into the same folder and again select the same file. This is painfully inefficient.
