HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Attachment in encrypted rich text item appears in bottom of document for non-authorized users

The attachment title and attachment icon is showing in the bottom of document:

If you have a form containing an encrypted rich text item, and access is controlled using a "PublicEncryptionKeys" field.

If the user reading a document is listed in the "PublicEncryptionKeys" field, they can see and open the file attached into the rich text item (which is fine).

If the user isn't listed in the "PublicEncryptionKeys" field, the rich text is hidden BUT the user can see the file icon and file name at the bottom of the document.

The user can't open the encrypted file (which is fine), BUT they should not be enable to see the file attachment title and icon in the bottom of the document because it's confidential.

Enhancement Request: We need to completely hide this file attachment title and icon in the bottom of the document
