Redesign the newly created -blank- Notes databases

Create a new blank Notes database with a modern, touch-friendly, and visually appealing default design, especially optimized for Nomad users. This template would save development time and improve usability.

The default template should include:

  • A touch-friendly outline for easy navigation.

  • A sample form with standard fields:

    • Subject

    • Category

    • Body

    • CreatedBy

    • UpdatedBy

  • Default action buttons in the form: Edit, Save, Close.

  • A view displaying the fields above with default action buttons: New, Edit, Forward, Print.

  • Pre-configured documents like About This Database and Using This Database.

  • A default frameset for consistent layout and navigation.

This template would provide a strong starting point for developers, reduce repetitive setup tasks, and ensure a modern and user-friendly experience for end users.

    A first attempt was already made to provide what you are looking for.

    Please use File / Application / New, and choose "Create Custom" from the list of templates
