DQL support for Japanese

DQL can not search Japanese as summary field and view column.

 

I can not search Japanese values ​​with all three below.

  • NotesDominoQuery Class (LotusScript)
  • domquery.exe (Command Prompt)
  • load domquery command (Domino console)

 

I tried URL encoded Japanese specified as a query, but it can not be searched.

I tried translating Unicode escape sequence for Japanese specified in the query but it can not be searched.

    domquery will not allow DBCS characters from the console.  This is not a DQL issue but an OS one.  Please use the -z <filename> option to specify your query.

     

    If backend classes do not support DBCS, please open a support issue, as this is a defect, NOT a new feature.

    Correction: I confirmed FP2 does not work on Console Command due to grabled text however it is reported that it works via Node.js.
