Out of office Service should be the default OOO

Since Out of office agents have a delay of 6hrs and most of the users are asking why is there a delay on the out of office when they use it..

    Sorry, I misread your subject line.... I Thought you were unaware of the OOO Service. Yes you are right, For new installations, OOO Service should be the default.

    You need to switch your users over to using the Out Of Office Domino service which been available since V8.0:
