Should support modify the $DesignerVersion field value

There are lots of application databases which design on the previous version, for example $DesignerVersion="5"

Customer upgraded the domino server to R901/R10.01/R11.0.1, and customized theses application databases again, but they found the $DesignerVersion value could not modify.

SWE created one new application database on domino server V11 using notes client V11, but SWE found the $DesignerVersion="8.5.3",which should display the value as 11.

    Does compiling in 9 and 11 lead to the same code? If yes, then the relevance of the $DesignerVersion is required. Otherwise desirable.

    Sometime like, how to keep older AP all design element as the same $DesignerVersion.

    normal way, designer only can do it manually by each one element.

    Hope like, by New Copy XXX.nsf to XXX.ns9 then keep new one XXX.ns9 's all $DesignerVersion = 9
