More DQL options

I want to use DQL to speed up our search form who is using FTSEARCH multiple databases but i cant do this because

DQL:

• i cant search multiple databases and make a federated search

• i cant limit the number of documents retrieved by the search. I can limit only the number of documents searched that is a nonsense because i need to find results from all documents in the database not only a fraction of them

• i cant call the DQL from the user, an action from a form. Is working only on server from an agent, agent return the result ok but how i return the results to the user, agent has no parameter to return a collection to user from "run on server agent

• improve the search sintax, more options

I want minimum this options to use DQL, until then i return to the old FTSEARCH
