When i want to send a lot of email with mime format. It will be done with uidoc.save, uidoc.send, uidoc.close within loop and hang. uidoc.send use config mime format in location document in this picture. If lotusscript backend class can do the same without many code to send with mime format. It is very useful for developer.
One can extend the existing send() method with an optional parameter.

You can send MIME using LotusScript. There's quite a few examples if you google it.
