Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

@IfError() was introduced in R6, but depreciated with R7 and therefor should not be used any more. Probably, because IBM wasn't able to fix some bug. - However, this @function is very useful and makes code much easier to read and understand than any @If()-statement.
Basically
@IfError(<statement>);
means
result := <statement>;
@If(@IsError(result); ""; result);
or
@IfError(<statement1>; <statement2>);
means
result := <statement1>;
@If(@IsError(result); <statement2>; result);
One easy to understand line, instead of a two-liner with backward logic!
Agreed. I never understood why they deprecated this command. The good news is that it is still available even with Notes 11.
