Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

When there is a central template database with libraries containing classes that are used in many other databases, the modification of one class can easily lead to an avalanche of user complaints: Type mismatch on external name: xxx. It happens even when a property or method is added to the class. Would it be possible to make the Designer task (a lot) smarter, in that it can recompile some or all lotusscript when it finds out that there is a newer design of one or more libraries? And that it can report problems to the developer, by mail?
