Create a .pdf of the document from current screen.

Creating a pdf seems to me to be a fundamental requirement of any document based software.  I'm hoping that IBM will inform me that this is already possible and how to do it.

Someone moved this idea from the Domino Mobile Apps to the Notes category.  I meant this idea only for DMA.  We already have a method for creating a .pdf from the Notes client.

Thank you for the info.  I will add freepdf to my library.  I don't see how it applies to iOS on an iPad though.  I am using the beta version of "IBM Domino Mobile Apps".  I don't see how I can use freepdf to create a pdf from a document I have on screen in the beta.

A native method to convert to PDF would be welcome. For the time being you don't need to spend money for saving as PDF because there are a number of free alternatives, e.g. https://freepdfxp.de/freepdf_en.html which act as a printer driver. MacOSX provides native PDF export capabilities when printing.

I was really thinking about doing it on an ipad.  We use PrimoPDF to convert documents to PDFs from our Notes clients. It works quite well.

I was hoping there was some way to convert a document to pdf on an ipad.

I think it's almost a requirement these days.  I would say AppDev, because I'm sure the developers out there would like to have it as an option.

I guess this idea is not limited to Domino Mobile Apps, so can I move this one to the Domino AppDev or Notes Client category?

Have you tried a pdf printer driver?

There's lots of different ones available and some are free.
