HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Have an option or button to clear the Nomad's local user data within the Nomad Web Login Page

The document below assumes the user is signed in and can select the reset Nomad or logout option. This is not the situation for all users.

If the new user is stuck in the login page and the other user did not reset Nomad, the login page will only present an option to enter the password for the ‘other’ user. Clearing the user’s cache and restarting the browser don't work. Each time you access the website, the system merely asked the new user to enter the password for the other user. The Admins can enter the other user’s password. However, if it wasn't the admin, the new user would not have had this option.

Aside from setting the ini resetNomadInstance=1, having the following button or option will make it easier for end users to get around the login page where they don't need to sign in to the other user's account to reset Nomad.

  1. Button to clear Nomad's local user data within the Nomad Web Login Page

This screen needs a button to clear the user information and allow another user to sign in.
