MDM App Configuration fails on BlackBerry UEM V12.11

I am using your recent Nomad_AppConfig.xml for the addtional Setup of the HCL Nomad 1.0.7 iOS app. Any Setup I try in the 'Misc. Settings' is denied with "Invalid Text Format". Example: For notes.ini I enter "TestValue=1234" -> Error, entering just "TestValue" succeeds. Seems that any kind of special characters are not permitted. Thanks for your helping hints!

There is a solution for that:

Blackberry UEM is, as far as I know, only affected in combination with the Nomad config.xml

You can contact Blackberry Support and request a SQL Script, with which, as a Workaround, you can put in the values.

It will be fixed in a future release.

    More information:

sql query text file "update_appconfig.sql" requested an created within Blackberry Reference ticket 0004998210

This "update_appconfig.sql" file is a "Work Around" for this issue; not the permanent fix.

We have opened a ticket with the BlackBerry Development engineering team to resolve this issue permanently.

For your information, the BlackBerry internal development ticket number is "EMM-145815". I cannot give you a date that this issue will be permanently fixed.

While this BlackBerry internal development ticket is not visible to you in any way, you can refer to that ticket number (EMM-145815) should you need to contact BlackBerry Support again about this issue.
