Domino Backup Restore - support TRANSLOG_RECOVER_PATH without deleting files after restore

There is a notes.ini setting TRANSLOG_RECOVER_PATH which can be used in combination with the DBRECOVER_ALT_RETRIEVE_PATH option to allow to store temporary TXN files on restore into a separate directory.

There are backup solutions, which allow to map a network share, which allow to present all TXN files without copying them. This would dramatically improve restore performance, because there is no round-tripping with delay between the restore request and the copy operation to finish.

Having a notes.ini setting to prevent the delete operation for the TXN would allow this type of restore optimization.
