Mails having junk characters mentioned in To or CC fields along with home internet domain should not be sent to Gateway server or next destination

Currently if there are junk characters mentioned in To or CC field along with home internet domain, then Domino server will send the mail to next destination (Gateway server or relay server) as designed.
e.g.- John.Doe@acme.com":'^
Once the mail reaches that Gateway server, it can again send it back to Domino server by just picking up the home internet domain by ignoring the junk characters.
This may force some systems to recognize that mail as "External" mail even if it is sent by the internal user since it is now received by Gateway server.
So there is an Enhancement Request to prevent Domino server from sending mail to next destination (Gateway Server) if the email address contains home internet domain along with few junk characters.

I‘m afraid it wont work as suggested
example: @company.co is a valid Domain and also is a subset of another valid domain like @company.co.uk
