Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Make Directory "Assistance Naming Contexts (Rules)" more flexible for foreign LDAP naming
The "Naming Contexts (Rules)" on a Directory Assistance document can route name-lookups to a specific directory, preventing futile requests to other directories. This method works fine for the Domino naming model (CN=.../OU=.../O=...), but it does not support other naming models like Active Directory (CN=John Doe,CN=Users,DC=gva,DC=int) or internet e-mail addresses. I suggest to add simple Like() or Regex filters that compare against the given DN: CN=*/CN=Users/DC=gva/DC=int *@acme.com
When the given DN/login/e-mail matches a filter on a Directory Assistance entry, that linked directory should be used for look-ups, otherwise it should be skipped.
