Support for hosted desktop virtualization environments include (but are not limited to) product offerings like IBM Virtual Desktop for Smart Business (VDSB), VMWare View, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft VDI suite including 2012 VDI infrastructure, and VERDE from Virtual Bridges.
This includes the ff.
1. Notes Client to be supported in Virtualization environments.
2. Notes Client manual upgrade to be supported.
Manual upgrade of Notes Client to be successful without doing any of the steps below:
A. IBM Notes related Windows Services from "auto" to "disable".
B. clear all files in user's temp folder (e.g. F:\Users\<user name>\AppData\local\temp).
C. restart VDI before installation
3. Notes SmartUpgrade to be supported on ff. configuration in Virtualization environments.
A. Using SURunAs
For user without Admin rights.
B. Standard Method: Attaching Fix Pack on SmartUpgrade policy.
SmartUpgrade to be successful by creating SmartUpgrade policy and attaching Fix Pack
4. Notes SmartUpgrade to be supported in Virtualization environments and run successfully without error.
