Command or option to end a thread in Domino

There are instances wherein agent is running beyond the execution time limit indicated in the Server Document. And even using the Agent Manager Tell commands to end amgr thread it still remain stuck.

Request to have an option to explicitly end an identified thread in Domino in general, e.g. an amgr thread

    The agent time limit is part of the agent backend code. if the timeout is not working, it is probably difficult to terminate the agent.

    You can't just "terminate" a thread from outside. it would potentially instablilize the server for the same reason a server needs a freeze and terminate when a process terminates abnormally.

    If the agent does not stop, take a NSD and let support analyze it.
