Add ability to hide other recipients in To field

Currently when we send the mail using several recipients in To field, they all are visible to each other. We can use Bcc field for the same but the problem with Bcc field is that, keeping recipients in Bcc field doesn't look professinal. They don't consider the mail is specifically sent to them.

So at Domino side customer is looking for an option to multiply the mail automatically and send single mail to each recipient in To filed if user selects that option.

So if there are 50 recipients in To field and user selects an option to "Send individual mails to recipients in To field", then system should automatically send 50 mails individually.

This will save the sender from repeating the same task and will also look good at recipient end.

This Enhancement Request was submitted for Notes/Domino V10 and V11.

We will not implement this function in the product because this is not what email is supposed to work. If you create an email and you are adding multiple recipients to the sendto field, all recipients will see those names because it is one and the same mail that is being sent. If you dont want this behaviour then put your own name in SendTo and all others in BCC or you can send one mail for each recipient. If you like to automate the later, then take a look at Domino applications like: http://www.dominoguru.com/page.xsp?id=product-mailer.html or similar.

Same situation happened to my organization as well.

Some or our customer feel insecure of receiving email without recipient in To field.

When you use BCC, the recipient thinks it IS addressed to only him/her, as they see their email address appear in the To field.

This is what you want, right?
