I've verified again in Domino 12 and the protocol is not saved so that would be good to have.
Confirmed with HCL Support in case CS0345860, there is no way to verify if the request is using HTTP or HTTPS. Domlog is also not able to differentiate.
Besides that, in Domino Administrator client > Server > Status > Internet Users, we hope HCL will enhance it to show users is accessing using HTTP or HTTPS.
