Router does not obey the Reader field if the Reader Access and above is restricted for Person Document

1) A person document is restricted via Person Document Properties>>Access>>Unchecking "All Reader and above" field. Anonymous is not selected.

2) An email is sent from Notes client/iNotes to the restricted user's internet address by user who is not listed in Reader list, then email receives successfully at restricted user.

3) Similarly a Group Document is restricted via Group Document Properties >> Access >> Unchecking "All Reader and above" field. When an email is sent to Group from Notes client/iNotes from a user we is not listed in Reader list, gets the error message "Not authorized to send mail to this user or group".




Like Group document, router should also follow the same for the Person document.

    To Thomas : I'm right with you for the first case. But it's not consistent with the third : router task, with server credentials, can access to the group document, but choose to not send the email ans delivers an NDR to the sender.

    Router's behavior is different depending on whether the recipient is a user or a group.

    This is working as designed. The router runs with server credentials and of course will have access to the the person document in the domino directory.
