Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

many users have the requirement to collectively use a common adressbook other than the nab, where they can maintain the contacts and groups they need for their work. the point is, only specific users should see specific adresses.
the implementation idea (in short) here is:
a new template based on the pernames.ntf
users can maintain only contacts and groups
permission for specific adress documents based on nab groups so that only permitted users see their records.
configuration section where the assiciated group name for an user can be looked up so that new adress documents automatically get the group name in a reader field
seamless integration in all available client types (notes full client, verse desktop, inotes, verse for smartphones
domino server must handle readerfields for name lookups correctly, so that only permitted adresses can be seen.
in the configuration document the server based adressbook(s) can be configured with all options needed (or via directory assistance)

Is this template posted as open source somewhere?
This is Extended Directory Catalog with some modifications to handle the privacy of the contact. We did just that. Contact us. dperarnaud@data101.es
Would be happy to offer this changes to the template of HCL.
