There might be scenarios where incorrect access was delegated by mistake to multiple users. For example, suppose calendar access was required to be shared among
multiple people. However, by mistake the owner selected setting "Mail, Calendar, To Do and Contacts" in "Components" section on
"Access & Delegation->Access to your mail & calendar->Change Access" tab while delegating the access.
In this case all those multiple people can read the mails which is a risk due the mistake happened. For some reasons, if owner of mail file is not available to
correct the mistake then there should be some options for Administrator to change the access from "Mail, Calendar, To Do and Contacts" to
"Calendar, To Do and Contacts" or "Calendar and To Do". Although this can be achieved by changing ACL settings in the database for those multiple users,
however this will be a manual process.
Currently, we have mail policy setting available through which we can allow or deny mail file owners from delegating the access. However, there are no settings
available to control the access which has been delegated to other users. For example if I want to disable the setting "Mail, Calendar, To Do and Contacts" through policy
then the option is not available in policy setting.
Please consider if we can have some policy settings options so that access settings of the mail file can be controlled by the Domino Administrators.
There should be policy settings available so that Administrator can control access of each person who has been delegated access on the mail file.
You would like to restrict users from using the delegation settings overall?
