However, user can change it from notes.ini since it cannot be lock out. The admin wants this setting not to be changed by the user.

They want a new design or setting for this requirement.

    Which Notes.ini variable would that be ?

    Yes, the user can manually edit the Notes.ini , but the next time the client connects to the server the variable would be added again.

    The Panagenda MarvelClient can be used to monitor this situation and take automated actions.
