LDAP Failover

While connecting to LDAP server from Domino for authentication and if we have multiple server configured for the LDAP server then when one of the LDAP server fails Domino will choose the alias configured and check for the next LDAP server address specified and go on... but when the main server is available I understand that Domino wont fall back to the main server until the DA is reloaded - Customer requirement to have a fail-over mechanism which will fall back to the mail LDAP Server when its available.

    Workaround:

    schedule a program document with

    „show xdir reload“
