TOTP Login - Warning message when user's Notes ID is missing in ID Vault

When an administrator enables TOTP for a website, all users will be expected to run a MFA Setup.

If there are web users who's Notes ID is not in the ID Vault, their login will fail without further notice. These users will retry until they get locked out by the Internet Lockout mechanism.

This idea suggests the following ideas:

  • A user should receive an Error message upon unsuccessful login. The Error message should indicate, that their own account is incorrectly configured on the server-side.

  • When a user tries to login on a TOTP enabled website but has no Notes ID in the ID Vault, Domino should print a Warning message to the Console and console.log by default (without having to enable any notes.ini Debug variables).
