Uncheck "Who can read this document" in Group will not receive emails to from Messaging Gateway.

IF we uncheck "Who can read this document" option in the Group property will not receive emails to from Messaging Gateway. Email server only have option to get email from the user or a Name exist on Server can only accept the same.


What i have tried to uncheck the above option and select few essential's option and try to sent mail from msg gw to group internet address will not delivered to the group of users.


It would be better if, IP or host can be added and accept mail for the same.

    Do I understand this right, you want to deliver inbound internet mail to an email address which shall not be visible to the users?

    Not sure what your environment looks like, but the Domino SMTP relay server could be using an additional Domino Directory configured in Directory Assistence which only hosts those mail-in database documents or person documents. Other mail servers in your environment do not require this additional address book and so your normal users would not see those addresses.
