Exclude certain strings from being logged in log.nsf - example: Load Balancer heartbeats in Mail Routing Events

Use of Load balancers is extensive in front of SMTP relays.  Having the Load Balancers heartbeat flooding the mail routing log is not useful.  Allow configuration to exclude specified strings from being logged (may be useful for other views within log.nsf too).

Example:

08/01/2018 02:47:41 PM  SMTP Server: bdlbaintabc.com (xx.xx.xx.xx) connected
08/01/2018 02:47:41 PM  SMTP Server: bdlbaintabc.com (xx.xx.xx.xx) disconnected. 0 message[s] received

DDM log filtering is useful in reducing the amount that is written to DDM but not to log.nsf.

I looked at DDM Filters and the very first line of the DDM Filter screen says this:
"The Domino Domain Monitor (DDM) filter determines what kind of and how much event information is reported to the Domino Domain Monitor database."

It does not say what is collected by log.nsf in the Mail Routing document.  Now if I am interpreting this wrong and there is a way through DDM filters to control what goes into the Log.nsf mail routing document, I would be interested in learning about it.

You can remove unwanted log messages by setting up a DDM Log filter

This is needed. Servers can experience a performance hit from an excessive number of entries in log.nsf.
