Measure the amount of data exchange between Notes client and Domino server

Need new feature to Measure the amount of database exchange between Notes client and Domino server.

Currently there is no such feature available at Domino application end neither VIA Log.nsf , statistics or Debug.

Administrator needs a way to capture the amount of data exchange between Notes client and Domino server.

Furthermore you can find this information in the server log.nsf , under "usage by date" or "usage by user".

Detailled information on the amount of data transferred is being logged there:

On the Notes client you can enable Debug_Console=1 with e.g. client_clock=4 to get more information for every single API call that is performing a client <> server transaction. Each log entry is providing the number of bytes sent + number of bytes received + the amount of time in milliseconds.

Can you provide some information about why this data is of interest? People voting for this idea might want to have more context.
