Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Default behavior of 'From' address in Mail-In Database
If you create a shared mail-in database, then the internet address for that database should ALWAYS be FROM the internet address specified. It seems the only way to guarantee this is to use a Person Document for the identity of the MIDB, but then you have an issue where as there is now the possibility of this document obtaining an Internet Password and have a login for it. Generic accounts with logins available are NOT the correct solution (potential security risks etc.). Instead, just let the MIDB documents always be 'From' the internet address when sending from them.
