Merged idea

This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit DOMINO-I-2161 DKIM domino support on OS400 (IBM i) & AIX operating System. .

Add the ability for DKIM for IBM I as you did for Windows and Linux Merged

Help admin's control Spoofing, SPAM ect..... I was told the reason it was not included for IBM i in case # CS03040764 that IBM i does not have the library to support DKIM. IBM I support open source per my IBM I expert source.

Is your IBMi machine directly connected to the internet? Is this the first machine that will receive inbound mail?

OS400 as a platfrom is problematic for developing modern functionality.

IMHO HCL a doing a great job supporting OS400. But some functionality is really challenging to implement and takes a lot of effort.

As support told you the open source libs used, are not available on OS400.

There is also other new functionality in Domino 12, which is almost impossible to implement on OS400 with reasonable effort.

You are very lucky, that HCL took over Domino. Just to remind you: IBM Software group took the dicision in late 9.0.1 times that their focus platforms are Win64 and RHEL 64. And they would have stopped OS400 for any major Domino release upgrade. When HCL took over, they decided to continue AIX and OS400 for Domino!

Usually anti-spam is performed on a gateway server in the DMZ and you would only run those servers on a different platform like Linux64.
