The original issue: Customer would like to send auto reply to every senders through Notes agent simple action "reply to sender", some of the mails were replied while some were not. We discovered all those can't "reply to sender" mails contain the field "Auto-submitted".

Root cause:

Domino is compliant with RFC 3834 standard with following comment:

- Automatic responses SHOULD NOT be issued in response to any

message which contains an Auto-Submitted header field

    I assume for a simple action it isnacveptable to follow the RFC. If you want a custom behavior, try using a custom Formula or LotusScript instead?

    Did you open a support ticket for this? If so, what is the ticket number? Can you please provide the agent source code (or an example that will help to reproduce this issue?
