allow compact to run before Domino is started

have the ability (perhaps a switch in NOTES.INI) that allows us to select LOG.NSF and NAMES.NSF (or perhaps other NSFs) to compact prior to the service start.

      This would be convenient.

      Compacting log.nsf is (usually)- not a problem through a program document.

      But during compaction, log is not available, so nothing is logged...

      Compacting names.nsf is something different: I would not take the chance to miss a document.

      So a program who will take care about such "before server starts" tasks would be great !

      I see you want to control maintenance thats that only work offline, like compacting system databases. How about a new setting e.g. for program documents to run "before server starts" ?
