One Domino tool to prevent mail attacks

Need one Domino tool to prevent mail attacks, such as to monitor frequent connection, high volume traffic, low volume traffic with a short duration repeat message from IP address or sender.

Sample of one external / internal sender send a large of mail with same subject and content to our mail account.

Need Domino provide one tool to define / stop / reject these mails to delivery.

The client's admin group got 15000 mail messages which sent to Postmaster@domain.com, then caused the server out of space and had to restart. So we created this enhacement request for need monitor tool.

Pushing back on this idea because 1. Domino can already be configured to reject large mails, 2. there are partner solutions available for providing what is requested in the idea, 3. for more sophisticated antispam processing please use an Antispam system in front of Domino.

However, please continue to vote for this idea if you think it should be done in Domino.

What you are describing sounds like an Antispam relay and is more complex, e.g. sending one email to a large number of recipients is not considered spam in all cases. Think about newsletters, etc
