Add a flag into user document in names.nsf to decide whether this user can be search as mail recipient or not.

One of our customer use both Sametime and Notes.

The Sametime server use Domino LDAP directory, the Domino LDAP Server is in the same Domino domain as Domino mail Server and it serve the names.nsf of this Domino Domain as Sametime User directory.

This customer added one user into Domino names.nsf, and wanted to only tallow this user to use Sametime but do not display this user in mail recipient search dialog in Notes client.

Currently there is no way to implement the above request from this customer.

I suggest to add a flag into user document in Domino names.nsf, let this flag to indicate whether this user is allowed to be displayed in mail recipient search dialog in Notes client. Also let Domino LDAP ignore this flag.

Thanks!

You can use the document properties of the person document to limit who can see the person document. Please be careful and remember that at least servers need to see the person document in order to route mail.
