Sending a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails to a non-Domino archiving mail server via SMTP

We are considering implementing an email archiving solution.

We would like to send a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails to a specific mail server via SMTP in order to work with our archiving solution.

It works like a journal, but we would like to be able to use SMTP to send a copy to a specific server instead of sending to the journal DB.

According to following Product Document, It does not say that Internet Address can be set for "Mail Destination."

Setting up the Mail Journaling database

We hope that Internet Address can be set for "Mail Destination." in "the Mail Journaling" would be supported and/or implement another new setting to send a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails to a specific mail server via SMTP

Also, I noticed that BCC (BindCopyto) is not retained due to MIME specifications.

If mail is forwarded via SMTP with your setting, we request that the BindCopyto field of Jarmal Notes Mail be kept as the BCC in the MIME header for Journal in the non-Domino archiving mail server during CD-MIME conversion.

    Thanks for the confirmation.
I have confirmed that it works with that configuration, but was unclear if it was supported, which was why I made the request here.

If that configuration is supported, could the product documentation also mention that the Internet address is configurable there?

This can already be done by specifying an SMTP email address in :

    Router/SMTP/Advanced/Journaling
Method : Send to mail-in database
