Vastly improve the way indexing works for large number of documents in a database

It's great that Domino databases can be up to 256Gb, but if indexes break and can't handle millions of documents, it's pointless. Database sizes, and the amount of data, is going to keep growing. With out this being addressed, Domino is going to become redundant.

We haven't logged a ticket, but this request is based off a discussion thread on Discord

The consensus from the discussion is that too many docs in an active database causes problems, and you need to archive. View indexes needs to be more robust to handle larger amounts of docs.

For the moment our Admin has set up program docs to do view rebuilds on the database.

It sounds like you have a specific situation that has been(?) analyzed already. Is there a ticket number for the problem you are describing? If not, can you please open a new ticket so that we dig into details? https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm
