Notes Shared Login password to sync with http password

we can only sync Notes and http password. But if one is using Notes Shared Login on their environment, sync with HTTP password is not possible as Notes password does not exist (it uses login feature that you log in to Windows)

We are encouraging customers to move away from storing HTTPpasswords in the person document. So please consider:

    1. changing your server configuration so that HTTP authentication is done against the IDVault - see Configuration Document / Security:

    2. NotesSharedLogin does not Sync any passwords on purpose. This technology will establish a trust between the current operating system and the (local) NotesID. This is by far more secure than sync'ing passwords.

    3. Configure your HTTP server for Authenticating against a (remote) LDAP or SAML IdP.

    4. Enable PassKey support for Domino - with passkeys enabled you do NOT need any HTTP password : https://help.hcltechsw.com/domino/14.0.0/admin/conf_dominopasskeyauth.html

    5. If not using Passkeys, at least enable TOTP support. https://help.hcltechsw.com/domino/14.0.0/admin/conf_totp_overview.html
