Restore the Notes & Domino knowledgebase back to a Notes database

Once upon a time, the knowledgebase was stored in a Notes database. From there it was accessible as a website, but even better is that it allowed accessing it via the more powerful client software, HCL Notes.

As a Notes database, it could be viewed in a Notes client. It could be replicated to my company's server where I could take advantage of unread marks, bookmarks, document collections and other features that browsers lack.

Unread marks are particularly helpful for when a technote is modified. They then show up as unread again in Notes, where a web page can't do that.

This has the added benefit of demonstrating in a very practical way how good that Notes and Domino are at handling this type of information. In software development terms, consuming your own product.
