what about sms 2fa???
Domino V12 is shipping 2FA in form of TOTP, for details see this: https://help.hcltechsw.com/domino/12.0.0/admin/conf_totp_overview.html
Important is that it should not be mandatory to link it to the ID Vault. (Since the 30.000 webusers we have do not have an ID file...)
This is must to have feature considering today's security concern. This feature is available even in free email services.
Please -- some form of 2FA is such a basic for web / mobile applications for years now!
Nowadays this is really necessary for security !
@Thomas: Need to be for rich client(s) like Notes & Sametime too. Look at https://cyone.eu/products-and-solutions/two-factor-authentication/
Hi, Any one know how to enable 2FA in Domino 9.0.1. Could some one help to me configure 2FA. Please send me steps or link
Domino needs 2FA. Given the choice I’d pick SMS and Google Authenticator.
it would also be nice to have Traveler require some type of 2FA at device setup too.
Great idea for remote workers of traveling users.
But how to avoid it for local users within a secured Network?
This is great!
2fa is becoming common place.
Only web-protocols
This gives muti-factors authentication for iNotes/Verse. providing OTP, SMS, Mobile Push, QRCode authentication.

U2F option for all Notes clients (rich inc. ICAA and web).
eg Yubico Fido
FYI - Looks like this is possible today: https://www.cyone.lv/products/two-factor-authentication/
This is a great idea for web protocols
Only web-protocols
Are you proposing this for web protocols only (iNotes, Verse, Traveler) or do you want to have 2FA in the the rich client(s) like Notes & Sametime?
