Limit in query parameter in searchview url

It seems like there is a 580 character limit in the query parameter when performing a searchview url request.


There is a setting in the domino directory (names.nsf) is for the HTTP protocol. That is, how long a URL can be coming into the HTTP server. But for the searchview query. There is a limit of 512 length which can be parsed as a searchview query argument. That is a limit, and it is not possible to change it using any ini or others.


Please increase this limit.

    Thanks a lot for your update. Currently there is a limit of 512 length which can be parsed as a searchview query. Can we please extend the limit for larger length.

    Are you asking for shortening ot extending the limit? Can you please provide an example where you run into a problem?
