SMTP-Relaying: Option "Allow relay function for selected users" needed

Hello,

SMTP relaying of external entities (hosts or clients) can be enabled by

1. adding specific hosts to the exeptions of anti relay checks in the configuration document of the Domino server

or

2. by enabling users to authenticate during the SMTP session and choose "Allow relay function for all authenticated users"

Both options weakens the protection against unwanted relaying (Spoofing of IP Adresses, weak htpp passwords). Unfortunately two factor authentication can not be applied in this specific case.

After asking the community for suggestions I would like to post an idea.

Idea:
A ConfigDoc-Entry like "Allow relay function for selected users" and a list of allowed users would solve this problem.

Kind regards

Heinrich Nellen
