Does this relate to server side (i.e. see progress in console) or client side (i.e. in database properties see progress during the FTI)?
If this relates to server side, you can set the notes.ini setting "Debug_FTV_Index=1" which results in progress information being written to the console.
If this relates to client side and your updating an existing FTI, you can use the [Count unindexed documents] button on the FTI tag of database properties to see how many are left to index.
