Renaming clusters

Environments change and often work with conventions in naming. It would be nice to be able to rename (old) clusters to meet accurate situations.

Hi Thomas, in the documentation I could not find instructions for this. Then AI guided me somehow:

"In Domino, you can’t simply “rename” a cluster. The cluster name is stored in places like the Server document (the ClusterName field) and the cluster membership; the Cluster Manager uses that to determine which cluster a server belongs to.

So in practice you handle a “rename” like this: create a new cluster with the desired name and move the servers to it (Domino will then remove them from the old cluster)."

So, where can I find documentation from HCL about renaming a cluster?

Who or what is saying that you can not do this already?
Change the cluster name field in the server document and restart the members ?
