UPDALL: Multiple update threads in the same DB

When UPDALL runs it currently only processes one view in a DB at a time. This made sense in the past, but if I have NIFNSF enabled on a server with SSDs then as I understand it UPDALL should have no real contention concerns and should be able to run say, 5 threads, with each thread processing a specific view in each database.

 

This will help UPDALL utilize available resources better and complete much quicker. It's pretty ridiculous in this day and age to see UPDALL kick off on a 40-core server and only use 3% CPU, and have one DB take 10 minutes to update just because it has a lot of complex views.

    I've been told by a HCL supporter that Domino supports that already from v10? As you, I also remembered that only one UPDALL thread per database was supported.
