Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Add SVG image format within the httpd.conf file

SVG graphics are more and more in common use these days.

For Domino web applications which use this file format, it is necessary, that domino responses the correct content type for these files - otherwise they are delivered as downloads (application/octet-stream).

Therefore the following entry needs to be added to the "Image formats" section within the config file "httpd.conf" residing in the Domino data directory:

AddType  .svg      image/svg+xml                        # SVG

Please make this entry as a default!

Everytime when upgrading a Domino server, this config file is overwritten, unfortunately.
