Autopopulate group does not work with groups of type other han multipurpose

Autopopulate group does not work with groups of type other than multipurpose. If we select group type as Deny access group and exclude it from auto populated group. Its is not working and users are still reflecting to Auto populated group instead we have made those users to excluded list.

This is working as designed. Exclusions do not honour Deny Access groups. Deny Access groups are only for denying access to the server and are not honoured as "Excluded Members".

Deny access group should be included to exclusion list.

Help or wiki should contain information about limitation that 'you can use groups except DenyAccess groups'. Documentation lacks such information.  The fix is an easy task - IBM needs to correct selection formula in their code to find all groups not only Multipurpose.

    When is this functionality required?

When you disable user, you add him to DenyAccess group . However user is still autopopulated in other groups (for example mailing groups). User who was denied access no longer needs to get emails sent to groups he belonged to. So the fix for the issue that is described in this idea would enable to exclude disabled users from autopopulated membership and thus would help to have mail servers cleaner and smaller and faster.
