Accept external emails for a restricted group document when the external user is added on the security tab of the group document properties.

Sending a message to a group will be rejected with the reason "Not authorized to send mail to this user or group", this happens if the setting in security tab of the group document properties is a specific internet address from the external non-domino user. If a local user is added with the canonical name it is accepted.

Please check case CS0032288 for complete information.

This is a security vulnerability that needs to be fixed quickly.

The remote user in this case is not an authenticated user, so the smtp address is just an unconfirmed string that could be faked. Domino can only verify the identity of authenticated users, thus the Notes canonical name is used here.
